UI Study Abroad and the Pomerantz Career Center are teaming up to host a virtual session designed to help you maximize the impact of international internships. Whether you’ve just returned from working abroad or are planning your first global experience, this session will give you the tools you need.

This summer, three University of Iowa students stepped far outside their comfort zones to complete internships abroad, gaining professional experience while immersing themselves in new cultures.

Dr. Kanwal Singh Matharu, assistant professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences in the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Carver College of Medicine, has been awarded a Fulbright for fall 2025.

A Little Free Library, designed by Clear Creek Amana students two years ago in collaboration with the UI Anne Frank Initiative and Iowa Youth Writing Project, has found a home at the UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
