Young alumna gives back to show appreciation

Shuwen Li (BS neuroscience ’20) recently made donations to the University of Iowa Department of Biology and the Asian Pacific American Cultural Center Student Fund. “It’s a way to show my appreciation. I also want to contribute to the Hawkeye community as a proud member,” Li reflects on her decision to give back to her alma mater. 

The University of Iowa to Virtually Host 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders

The University of Iowa is proud to announce its selection as an Institute Partner for the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.  Beginning June 21, The University of Iowa will virtually engage 25 of Africa’s bright, emerging Business leaders for a six-week Leadership Institute, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.  Some highlights of the University of Iowa program will include business-specific content, virtual networking events with Iowa community and business leaders, cultural connection activities, and community service meetings.
