Students are encouraged to begin their funding searches and applications at least six months to one year in advance.  Students are required to apply for funding through Karen Wachsmuth, associate director of International Fellowships. Please see the individual grant webpages for workshop announcements.

Schedule an advising appointment with Karen Wachsmuth to discuss your interest in an international fellowship or begin an application (as a UI undergraduate student, graduate student, or alumna/us).

Boren information session to be held Nov. 13

International Programs will host a Boren Awards information session on Tuesday, November 13, from 3:30-5 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre. Learn about award requirements, the application process, and have your questions answered by Boren representative Jeff Cary and campus advisor Karen Wachsmuth.
