UI student William Jones studied abroad in Germany with the assistance of the Richard J. Tyner Scholarship.

Stanley Awards for International Research are given annually to outstanding University of Iowa students in all academic fields for the pursuit of foreign research, learning activities in international studies, and career interests abroad.

Daijonna Glee (business student with a minor in Korean studies), a Diversity Ambassador Scholarship recipient, participated in International Business in London in winter 2022.

Four University of Iowa international undergraduate students from developing countries were chosen to receive Peace, Charlie One World Scholarships in 2023.

Laura McDowell, who will receive a BA in linguistics and Spanish from the University of Iowa in May 2023, is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award to Turkey for 2023-24. 

Ben Dent (finance major), a Diversity Ambassador Scholarship recipient, participated in International Business in London in winter 2022.

Angelina Evans (computer science and geography double-major), a Diversity Ambassador Scholarship recipient, participated in the CIEE Open Campus Singapore in fall 2022.

Guilherme Pinho, who will receive a BA in political science and German from the University of Iowa in May 2023, is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award to Germany for 2023-24. 

Angela Pandit (finance major and Spanish minor), a Diversity Ambassador Scholarship recipient, participated in the IES Barcelona program in fall 2022.
