The mission of the Anne Frank Initiative is to investigate Anne Frank’s literary contributions and her legacy in a more contemporary context. 

The Iowa Hispanic Institute program offers six weeks of academic instruction and gives students a chance to improve their Spanish, live with a host family, and explore the culture of Spain. 

A chemist by trade and originally from India, Skaria came to the University of Iowa in 2021 when she took up a postdoctoral scholar position in Daly Research Group.
