International Programs official receives Volunteer of the Year Award

UI International Programs Assistant Provost Doug Lee received the International Education of Students Abroad Volunteer of the Year Award earlier this fall. Lee was recognized for his work assisting students throughout their studies and internships abroad.

Phoobala Naidoo, who to Iowa from South Africa during apartheid, graduated from the University of Iowa in 1990, where he received his PhD in counselor education. He currently resides in Blair Athol, New South Wales, Australia, where he serves underserved and needy populations.
