Hser Dir Mu, (BS human physiology ’25) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Thailand for 2025-26. 

Emily Callahan (BA political science, journalism & mass communication ’22) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Montenegro for 2025–26.

The scholarship, founded by UI alumnus Richard J. Tyner in 2017, assists students majoring in world languages, international relations, international studies, or political science as they pursue transformative international internships and coursework.

Duong (Jun) Le, a recent UI graduate from Vietnam, has been awarded the 2025 Peace, Charlie One World Scholarship. As she begins her master’s in piano pedagogy at Iowa, Le continues her mission to promote intercultural understanding through the unifying power of music.

Andy Stewart (BS psychology ‘24, BA German ’24) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Taiwan for 2025–26. 

Alice Cruse (BA journalism & mass communication ’25) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Taiwan for 2025–26. 

Andrew S. Kelleher (BA international relations, political science ‘25) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Kosovo for 2025-26.

Angelina Evans (MS informatics ‘25, BA geography ‘24) is the winner of a Fulbright Study/Research Grant to Germany for 2025-26. 

Maia Rivera Diaz (BA international relations ’24) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Spain for 2025-26.

Jennifer Cano (BA English, English education ‘23) is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Spain for 2025-26.
