Clayton Salley, an MFA candidate in studio art, jewelry, and metal arts at the University of Iowa, is the winner of a Fulbright Study/Research Grant to Taiwan for 2024-25.

Fabian Ouellet-Pinto, who will receive a MAT in English education from the University of Iowa in May 2024, is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Taiwan for 2024-25. 

Tabitha Peter, a PhD candidate in biostatistics from the University of Iowa, is the winner of a Fulbright Study/Research Grant to Colombia for 2024-25.

Ian Zwaschka, who received a BA in cinema and English & creative writing from the University of Iowa in 2021, is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to the Czech Republic for 2024-25.

Margo Christensen, who received a BA in history and social studies education from the University of Iowa in 2023, is the winner of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Thailand.

"It was difficult to hear how limited education is for women living in India, but inspiring to see how change is occurring to raise the numbers of girls in school. It has inspired me to be a part of the next generation of environmental engineers to design systems to give clean water access to individuals all around the world."

University of Iowa global health studies major Isabel Rushton of Iowa City, Iowa, has been awarded a 2024 U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) to study Indonesian in Malang, Indonesia.
