The Study Abroad Office, Peace Corps, the School of International Training (SIT), and the Blank Honors Center will hold two upcoming informational sessions - "Not Your Ordinary International Experience: SIT Study Abroad and the Peace Corps!" These events are free and open to the public, and will take place from  7-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, in room 2390 of the University Capitol Centre, and 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016, in room 350 of the Blank Honors Center.

Featuring guest speakers Amy Burrows from SIT and Meredith Mahy Gall from Peace Corps, these sessions will teach attendees about unique opportunities to live, learn, and work in host communities around the world and explore the perspectives of the people who live there. Amy Burrows will share information about summer and semester study abroad programs combining field-based research with academic coursework. Meredith Mahy Gall will discuss opportunities on how to use your skills to make a difference in a developing country after graduation.

Fun Fact: SIT conducted orientation and training for the earliest Peace Corps volunteers!
