The 2024 Multicultural Showcase at the University of Iowa brought over 375 students, faculty, staff, and community members together to celebrate different cultures for International Education Week. The event featured vibrant performances, ethnic foods, and interactive activities led by student organizations and campus departments.

Rebecca Miller’s travel to Eswatini, supported by a Stanley International Travel Award, enabled cross-cultural exchange and relationship building between Iowa and Swazi nursing students during workshops at Good Shepherd College.

In this personal reflection, Elizabeth Von Loh shares how everyday moments during a study abroad program in Ireland became rich story material, from walking the streets of Dublin at dawn to witnessing local traditions.
