Wieder, a third-year doctoral candidate in the French and Francophone World Studies program is a recipient of the 2024 Stanley Award for International Research. In the fall, Wieder will travel to Paris to conduct archival research for her dissertation.

The University of Iowa's Study Abroad Conversation Series offers students firsthand insights from peers who have studied abroad, covering topics like funding, career opportunities, global skill-building, and mindful travel. This series provides practical advice, helping students connect with others and prepare for their international adventures.

The “Impact of Exchange” exhibit will be on display until Sept. 10 at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids.
