Looking to make your study abroad experience a bit more affordable? Apply for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship! 

The Gilman scholarship is open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide.

There will be four informational sessions in 1117 UCC about the Gilman scholarship. The dates and times are as follows:

  • Thursday, February 4 (3:30-4:30 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, February 9 (9:30-10:30 a.m.)
  • Wednesday, February 17 (10:30-11:30 a.m.)
  • Tuesday, February 23 (12:30-1:30 p.m.)

The information sessions will discuss how to apply for the scholarship, what the reviewers of the scholarship are looking for in the required essay, and what other documentation is needed for a complete application. Teresa Kout, participant services coordinator for Study Abroad, will speak.
