UI students who are interested in studying abroad in Germany are invited to attend an information session on The Academic Year in Freiburg program, on Monday, November 6, from 4-5 p.m. in 315 Phillips Hall.
Topics covered will include eligibility requirements, applying credit towards the German major & minor (or other majors), scholarships for study abroad, and living in Germany.
The Academic Year in Freiburg is a two-semester program run according to the local university calendar, October to mid-February and mid-April to mid-July; an early session in September provides orientation and accelerated language coursework.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Kerby Boschee in advance at kerby-boschee@uiowa.edu or 319 335-0353.
