Get your questions answered and kick start your global experience at the upcoming University of Iowa Study Abroad Fair, being held Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the IMU International Ballroom!  

Learn about short-term and semester-long study and internship programs that allow you to earn academic credit toward your degree at Iowa while exploring other cultures. Meet with study abroad advisors, faculty program directors, former student participants, and academic advisors to discover how international experiences can fit into your time at Iowa.

All fair attendees who register their attendance at the fair will be entered to win one of two $500 scholarships to study abroad.

International Programs (IP) at the University of Iowa (UI) is committed to enriching the global experience of UI students, faculty, staff, and the general public by leading efforts to promote internationally oriented teaching, research, creative work, and community engagement.  IP provides support for international students and scholars, administers scholarships and assistance for students who study, intern, or do research abroad, and provides funding opportunities and grant-writing assistance for faculty engaged in international research. IP shares their stories through various media, and by hosting multiple public engagement activities each year.
