Are you a Spanish major or minor and looking to study abroad in Spain this summer?

Study Abroad will host an information session on its popular summer Iowa Hispanic Institute program in Valladolid, Spain, on Wednesday, January 31, from 4-5:30 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre. 

Learn more about this exciting program designed to improve students’ written and spoken Spanish and enhance their understanding of Spanish culture. Led by UI Spanish Professor Ana Rodriguez, this program offers five weeks of academic instruction and one week of independent travel in Spain. Participants will receive 7 semester hours of credit to go towards a Spanish major or minor. Applicants must be in good academic and disciplinary standing and have completed Intermediate Spanish II or the equivalent by May 2018 to participate in this program.

Program dates: May 23-July 5
