The Fulbright Lunch & Learn Spring Seminar Series continues with "A Medievalist in Iceland: Or, Why Fulbrights Are Good for Faculty in All Fields," featuring guest speaker Jon Wilcox, professor in the UI department of English. This event will take place Thursday, February 27, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre.

Wilcox will share experiences from his Fulbright Scholar teaching and research grant to Iceland in Fall 2019 at the University of Iceland, where he explored the topic of Viking-Age North Sea culture, specifically medieval connections between Iceland and England.

This event is free and open to the public - bring a brown bag lunch and a friend and come prepared to learn!
