Do you want to try cooking Korean food? Learn about Korean culture while making Korean food at one of several cooking classes offered by the King Sejong Institute at the University of Iowa.

All classes are open to the public and will focus on a different dish each time. Classes will be held from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre. 

Classes include:

  • September 8 - Fried chicken with dipping sauces
  • October 13 - Fish, fish, fish (mackerel, clam, squid)
  • November 10 - Three porridges

If interested, please RSVP by emailing sejong@uiowa.edu. There is a $10 registration fee for each session for supplies. Adults may bring up to two kids per class. For more information, visit the King Sejong Institute classes and events page.
