Twelve Brazil Scientific Mobility Program (BSMP) scholars were honored at the College of Engineering’s Student Recognition Luncheon on April 17, 2015 with certificates of achievement.

The BSMP program offers Brazilian students an opportunity to study in the United States for one year, and aims to strengthen research and academic exchange between the U.S. and Brazil.  In addition to completing coursework, BSMP scholars are encouraged to complete a research project or internship during the summer months. This summer, BSMP scholars from the University of Iowa will complete research or internships in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, and North Carolina.
