Mandatory Online Pre-Arrival Checklist

Now that you’ve received your Immigration Document, look at the iHawk Pre-Arrival Checklist for international students. This checklist will help you prepare for your arrival to Iowa City. It will also take you through the steps of getting your visa and printing out your orientation schedule.

You can find the checklist online at: https://ihawk.uiowa.edu. You will need your HawkID and password. If you do not know your HawkID, you can find it by visiting here. Once you know your HawkID, you can reset your password if needed.

Once you’ve logged in to your iHawk account, you should be able to see a Pre-Arrival checklist like the one below.

You can complete each checklist item by clicking on it and following the instructions. Most items are available right away; some items will not be ready until 30 days before orientation. Once you’ve completed every checklist item, you will be fully prepared for your orientation at Iowa.
