After studying abroad three times, UI student Sean Keene launched 'Around the World in 80 Stays,' a podcast that shares stories from fellow Hawkeyes who have already taken the leap—and brought back insights to help others do the same.

A Little Free Library, designed by Clear Creek Amana students two years ago in collaboration with the UI Anne Frank Initiative and Iowa Youth Writing Project, has found a home at the UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. The library now offers books by and for young people, promoting hope, resilience, and the power of youth voices.

With the help of two international funding awards, Iowa alumna Kathleen Maris Paltrineri turned her academic research on an award-nominated Nordic poetry collection into a published literary translation.
