Join us on Tuesday, November 19, from 4 to 5:15 p.m. (CST), via Zoom for an interactive Fulbright Group Presentation Session to learn about opportunities for U.S. citizens to pursue graduate or professional study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.
During the session, you will learn about the types of Fulbright awards, application components and tips, and get your questions answered. Following the program overview, you will enter a breakout room with your Fulbright Program Adviser(s) to learn more about applying through the University of Iowa.
“For students interested in applying for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, this presentation will be an excellent opportunity to interact with campus representatives and ask any questions you may have,” shared Karen Wachsmuth, associate director of international fellowships for International Programs. “There are several different kinds of awards funded through Fulbright, so it's important to know the difference and what makes the most sense for you.”
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. government and administered by the Institute of International Education.
