The International Student Advisory Board (ISAB) will hold two recruitment events this spring for undergraduate and graduate student leaders passionate about advocating for improving the international student experience and creating a campus environment more inclusive to international students. During these events, current members will share what ISAB is currently working on, and students can ask any questions that they have.  

The two recruitment events follow: 

  • Thursday, February 15, 2024 | 5 – 6 p.m. (CST) | Old Capitol Room (Room 347), Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) 
  • Thursday, March 7, 2024 | 6 – 7 p.m. (CST) | via Zoom 

ISAB application deadline: Friday, March 15, 2024, at 5 p.m. (CDT)

International Programs (IP) at the University of Iowa (UI) is committed to enriching the global experience of UI students, faculty, staff, and the general public by leading efforts to promote internationally oriented teaching, research, creative work, and community engagement.  IP provides support for international students and scholars, administers scholarships and assistance for students who study, intern, or do research abroad, and provides funding opportunities and grant-writing assistance for faculty engaged in international research. IP shares their stories through various media, and by hosting multiple public engagement activities each year.
