Starting Jan. 23, 2024, Life in Iowa and International Student Support and Engagement invite international students and scholars at the University of Iowa to join them for a weekly coffee hour.

This talk will explore various facets of cultural preservation, including discussing language revitalization efforts of the Kalinago language and strategies to ensure its survival and transmission to future generations.

This insightful panel will discuss forging partnerships for community-based solutions to advance health equity. The shared vision and values of the community will be emphasized, empowering individuals to shape outcomes actively. The importance of diverse collaboration will be underscored, including collaborations with public health agencies, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and businesses.

The Korean Studies Research Network, an International Programs affinity group, presents this virtual talk featuring Dr. Cindi Textor, assistant professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Utah.

For Jewish American Heritage Month, join us in front of MacBride Hall for Our Roots: A Celebration of Jewish Heritage. This event will highlight Jewish stories at the University of Iowa through student speakers and an art project that pays homage to the Anne Frank Sapling Tree.
