Please upload a project narrative up to five pages in length. The proposal must include the following:

  • Compelling explanation of the purpose, significance, and impact of the project
  • Convincing account of process through which the activities will be undertaken, including any existing ties that may facilitate the project and obstacles that must be overcome for its success
  • Anticipated outcomes
  • Potential to align research with external grant opportunities, such as NIH, Fogarty, NSF, NEH, private foundations
  • List of departments, programs, or clusters on campus that will participate or benefit
  • Description of opportunities for student participation (if appropriate). Note: Student travel to a high-risk location (DOS 3 or 4 travel advisory risk rating) is not eligible for award funding.
