Japanese culture festival to be held Nov. 1, 2019

Do you want to learn more about traditional Japanese culture? Join the University of Iowa Japanese Program for a Japanese culture festival (文化祭 bunkasai) on Friday, November 1, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Iowa City Public Library. This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Enjoy authentic green tea and sweets from Japan at the UI Japanese Program's Tea Ceremony events on Monday, August 20 from 1-4 p.m. and Tuesday, August 21, 1-4 p.m. at MERGE in downtown Iowa City (136 South Dubuque Street).

Want to learn more about traditional Japanese culture? Join the UI Center for Asian and Pacific Studies Program and the Japanese Program as they host their first Japanese culture festival (文化祭 bunkasai) on Thursday, November 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre.
