Dean Ganim discusses his recent trip to Kosovo, and CIMBA's graduation ceremony that took place in Iowa City for the first time since COVID began.

The Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa Study Abroad, and the CIMBA Italy Program, have been recognized as a finalist for the 2021 GoAbroad Innovation Award for Innovation in Online Programming for the innovative virtual study abroad course titled International Business in a Time of Disruption: Protectionism, Pandemics, and Political Fragmentation. 

As Alexia Sanchez (BA political science, social justice ’20) begins her fellowship with Running Start, a non-profit, non-partisan organization with a mission of getting more women involved in politics, she took some time to reflect on the impact of her three global learning experiences as an undergraduate at the University of Iowa.

Anibal Mares Marquez (BBA accounting ’20), risk assurance associate at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), recently took some time to reflect on the impact of his study abroad experience as an undergraduate at the University of Iowa. Anibal studied in Paderno del Grappa, Italy, through CIMBA, and was the recipient of a Diversity Ambassador Scholarship.

Kali Slaymaker is a first-generation college student who will earn her degree in marketing from the University of Iowa in 2016 after just three years of study. Kali was a 2015 recipient of the Diversity Ambassador Scholarship for Study Abroad which she applied toward a summer program with CIMBA in Paderno Del Grappa, Italy during summer 2015.
