Study Abroad Student Staff

Here in the Study Abroad office, we couldn't do what we do without the help of our amazing student staff.  Each one of these students contributes to the overall mission of Study Abroad by sharing with UI undergraduate students the benefits of studying abroad, or helping students find opportunities that fit their needs.  Meet the 2019-2020 staff below!

Peer Advisors

What do they do?

Peer advisors provide information about study abroad programs and procedures to UI undergraduate students by staffing the Study Abroad Resource Room.

Come to the Resource Room (1111 UCC) Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m to talk to a peer advisor!

"The Study Abroad office helped me match my vision of studying abroad to a program that fit my interests and goals. Study abroad is not a one-size-fits-all experience; anyone who wants to incorporate it into their degree can do so with help from the office.”
