I'm interested in second language writing, especially ESL writing and writing in Spanish. I collect data in our writing center and use it to explore issues in composition and in second language acquisition. I'm interested in Latin American culture and literature and did a Fulbright in Ecuador.

I have a BA in Spanish, a master's in linguistics/TESOL, and a PhD in English with a specialization in Rhetoric and Composition.
