Ready to turn your college experience into a global adventure? Mark your calendar for the University of Iowa Study Abroad Fair, taking place on Tuesday, September 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (CDT) in the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) International Ballroom.

Whether you're dreaming of studying Renaissance art in Italy, interning in Tokyo, or improving your Spanish in Costa Rica, the Study Abroad Fair is your gateway to over 200 study abroad programs in over 40 countries across six continents.

At the fair, you can:

  • Connect with study abroad advisors and learn about program options that fit your academic and personal goals.
  • Meet past participants and hear about their international experiences.
  • Discover scholarships, funding opportunities, and how to plan financially.
  • Explore short-term, semester-long, and faculty-led program options.
  • Learn about internships and research opportunities abroad.

“We want you to know that studying abroad is possible for students from many academic disciplines and with a range of budgets thanks to study abroad scholarships that are available,” said Ana Jimenez, senior advisor & program coordinator, UI Study Abroad. “The Study Abroad Fair is the perfect opportunity for you to ask questions, explore all possibilities, and start planning your study abroad experience.”

The fair is free and open to all UI students.

All attendees who register their attendance at the fair will be entered to win one of two $500 scholarships to study abroad. For more information, visit international.uiowa.edu/study-abroad-fair
