Life in Iowa invites international students to attend the Work Visa Options After Graduation workshop on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. (CDT) in the International Commons, room 1117 of the University Capitol Centre at the University of Iowa.
David Gluckman and Jonathan Moore, directors in the Immigration Practice Group at McCandlish Holton, will provide an overview of work visa options after graduation. They will cover topics such as transitioning from optional practical training (OPT) to H-1B and the importance of maintaining a legal identity. This event will help you better plan for immigration status after graduation and avoid potential legal complications.
