Would you like to teach English, study, or do research or creative work abroad for an academic year at no cost to you (U.S. citizens only)? Join International Programs at the University of Iowa for the 13th Annual Fulbright Intensive U.S. Student Program Workshop on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. CST via Zoom. This session will feature current UI Fulbright awardees who will join us from abroad and introduce the staff and faculty who support UI student applicants. We will also cover application basics for undergraduate, graduate, and alumni applicants from all fields. Juniors, seniors, graduate students, and alumni applying in 2025 should plan to attend; first-year students and sophomores are welcome.

- Current UI Fulbright awardees and recent Fulbright alumni who will join us from abroad
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is designed to give recent bachelor’s degrees, master’s candidates and degree holders, doctoral candidates, young professionals, and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience. Projects may include English Teaching Assistantships, independent research, creative/artistic projects, university coursework or degree programs, or training in a music conservatory or art school.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. government and administered by the Institute of International Education.
