
Join Life in Iowa and International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) to learn basic information about Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and how to apply for CPT as a graduate or undergraduate student.
In partnership with the Pomerantz Career Center, Paula Ross, assistant director of the center, will join Pauline Beazer James, senior advisor in ISSS, to help international students revise their resumes and teach best practices for writing effective cover letters.
Whether you’re a first-year student or heading toward graduation this semester or next, we invite all international students to join this Life in Iowa event.

Life in Iowa is a program designed to assist international students in adjusting to life and the academic system here at the University of Iowa. It includes cultural events and academic sessions, as well as a career series.
