International Programs is proud to recognize Fu-Ching Hsiao and Shu-Mei Chang of Changhua County, Taiwan, as the 2025 International Parents of the Year.

International Programs is proud to announce Zbigniew and Dorota Brzus of Bodaczów, Poland, as the 2024 International Parents of the Year. They are being recognized for their extraordinary journey from a small village in communist Poland to becoming successful entrepreneurs and pillars of their community while supporting their son Michal’s dreams of studying and swimming at Iowa.

International Programs is honored to present the award for this year’s International Parents of the Year to Mohammad Sayeed Hossain and Nasrina Parvin. Mr. Hossain and Mrs. Parvin were nominated by their son, Rezwan Mohammad Sayeed, a PhD candidate in the College of Engineering, from Dhaka, Bangladesh, for being strong advocates for equal rights movements and supporting Rezwan’s educational journey.
