14 University of Iowa undergraduate students are able to intern abroad thanks to support from the Freeman Foundation Asian Internships Scholarship.

H.E. Mr. Indroyono Soesilo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States (PhD geologic remote sensing ’87) returned to Iowa, the place that set him on the trajectory that led to a career steeped in science, government leadership, and international diplomacy.

With over 150 meals served, this annual event provides a unique opportunity for students who stay on campus during the break to join in community.
