Over 200 people gathered to celebrate International Women’s Day at a recent “Night of 1000 Dinners” event hosted by the Johnson County United Nations Association (UNA).

Joan Kjaer, International Programs, was recently recognized with the University of Iowa Outstanding Staff Award.  The award recognizes UI staff members who have made significant contributions—above-and-beyond typical job responsibilities—that benefit the university.

The International Programs (IP) grants office assists faculty and staff in the development of grant proposals for external funding in support of their research, teaching, and service goals—especially those related to the mission of International Programs.
