Degree: BA, psychology, Arabic minor, Master of Clinical Anatomy

Could you give me a brief synopsis of what you'll be doing with your Fulbright?
I will research geographical disparities in access to prenatal care by comparing models of medical coverage provided in Morocco.

What drew you to this field of study?
A study abroad experience at an OBGYN clinic in the Dominican Republic.

How do you envision this will influence your life/future career?
I hope to grow as an independent researcher and attain a global mindset that allows me to connect with more groups in the community. I plan to apply the skills I learn to better serve minorities and underserved groups to create inclusive and equitable resources.

What advice do you have for future students interested in applying for a Fulbright?
Be unapologetically you and allow your personality to shine throughout your application.

Are there individuals you'd like to thank for their investment in this process?
Everyone has been so sweet and kind on this journey, whether you gave me your time or encouragement to keep improving my application, I would like to thank you.

Dr. William Story and Dr. Emily Wentzell, for sharing their knowledge, expertise, and passion to help me create my project. I want to thank Dr. Jeanine Abrons, Dr. Christopher Squier, and Dr. Wiliam Reisinger for their endless critical feedback and support throughout this lengthy process.

Secondly, I would like to thank my recommenders Dr. Rachel Luehrs, Alaa Nasef, and Alsatia Todd, as well as Dr. Yasmine Ramadan, my language evaluator. Notably, Dr. Karen Wachsmuth for being an amazing advisor who pushed me to be my best.

Lastly, I would like to thank my family and friends for keeping me grounded through every journey I take.
