Tatum Buckley

AFI Intern 2026-2027 academic year
Biography

Tatum is a fourth-year student majoring in German and international studies with a concentration in human rights and public service. In her third year, she studied abroad with the Academic Year in Freiburg Program, where she strengthened her German language skills and experienced living abroad for the first time. After graduation, she hopes to complete another year abroad in Germany, but this time teaching English as a Fulbright Scholar. With strong interests in human rights, learning new languages, and exploring new cultures, Tatum plans to study immigration or human rights law in the future. Tatum believes that through sharing stories and personal experiences, like those of Anne Frank, we can create a space for dialogue in a world that seems so divided.
