The Major Project centers on a week-long visit in September by Dr. Nada Melhem, professor of infectious diseases and microbiology in the Division of Health Professions, Medical Laboratory Sciences, at the American University of Beirut.

The Iowa Global Health Network presents a Prairie Lights Reading by Saket Soni, author of The Great Escape, and co-founder and executive director of Resilience Force, a national nonprofit that advocates for the rising, and often migrant, workforce that rebuilds communities after climate disasters.
