International Programs (IP) at the University of Iowa presents WorldCanvass® once a month before a live audience in the Senate Chamber of the historic Old Capitol Museum on the campus of the University of Iowa.
Joan Kjaer hosts the series and, with her guests, explores topics that are international in scope and central to our understanding of how individuals fit into the global landscape.
The programs are recorded by UITV for statewide broadcast over Iowa cable television systems and KRUI radio. All programs are archived on the International Programs website (scroll below for links to past programs) and the Public Radio Exchange, and are available as podcasts on iTunes. WorldCanvass programs take place from 5-7 p.m. one Friday per month and are free and open to the public.
Note: WorldCanvass is no longer live streaming programs on International Programs’ website, and KRUI is no longer airing a live audio broadcast.
