International Programs (IP) at the University of Iowa presents WorldCanvass® once a month before a live audience in the Senate Chamber of the historic Old Capitol Museum on the campus of the University of Iowa.
Joan Kjaer hosts the series and, with her guests, explores topics that are international in scope and central to our understanding of how individuals fit into the global landscape.
The programs are recorded by UITV for later broadcast over Iowa cable television systems and for distribution on Iowa Public Radio and KRUI-FM. Live video streaming is provided through IP’s website, a live broadcast will be playing on KRUI 89.7 FM, and all programs are archived on the Public Radio Exchange and through podcasts on iTunes. WorldCanvass programs take place from 5-7 p.m. one Friday per month and are free and open to the public.
