In coordination with International Programs, the University of Iowa signed a memorandum of understanding with Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in India. Dr. Kanwal Matharu, assistant professor, UI Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences explains.

Artsakh State University and the University of Iowa entered into a Memorandum of Understanding agreement, established by the Center for Truth and Justice, a U.S.-based non-profit organization formed in November 2020, immediately following the 44-Day War in Artsakh. 

The UI College of Law entered into an agreement with the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) of Kenya, which will run for a period of five years starting November 2022.  

Leaders from the University of Iowa and the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs gathered in Des Moines earlier this month to sign an agreement that creates an externship program abroad for UI law students. The externship is available to any UI law student who has completed at least one year of law school, takes place at the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs and involves international law research.
