The University of Iowa is proud to announce its selection as an Institute Partner for the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.  Beginning June 21, The University of Iowa will virtually engage 25 of Africa’s bright, emerging Business leaders for a six-week Leadership Institute, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.  Some highlights of the University of Iowa program will include business-specific content, virtual networking events with Iowa community and business leaders, cultural connection activities, and community service meetings.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for African Leaders is making a six-week stop in Iowa.

A group of emerging leaders from sub-Saharan Africa has traveled to Iowa City, and the will spend six weeks engaging and participating in entrepreneurial education at University of Iowa.
