Come and learn about this amazing study abroad opportunity in Madrid, Spain!

Study Abroad will host an information session on its summer program Cultures of Spain, on Friday, February 7, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in 315 Phillips Hall.

Discuss the course content, the excursions and activities planned, additional travel opportunities, lodging, group dynamics, etc.

Led by UI Department of Spanish Professor Luis Martin-Estudillo, this four-week summer course offers participants an overview of the cultural landscape of Spain through an interdisciplinary approach to its history, culture, and art. The course devotes a majority of class time to field trips with Madrid and its neighboring regions and cities. Weekends are free for participants to travel around Spain or Europe. The course will be taught in English and there is no foreign language requirement.

Program dates: May 19 - June 17, 2020
