Are you a Spanish major or minor and looking to study abroad in Spain this summer?

Study Abroad will host an information session on its popular summer Iowa Hispanic Institute program in Valladolid, Spain, on Wednesday, February 15, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in 217 Macbride Hall. 

This program is designed to improve students' written and spoken Spanish and to enhance their understanding of Spanish culture and life in Spain. It offers five weeks of academic instruction and one week of independent travel. Led by UI Spanish Professor Ana Rodriguez, participants will receive 7 semester hours of credit to go towards a Spanish major or minor. Applicants must be in good academic and disciplinary standing and have completed Intermediate Spanish II or the equivalent by May 2017 to participate in this program.

Program dates: May 23-July 6
