Bring the world to you with virtual international coursework!

Overview

A wide range of coursework is available including Arabic language, art history, business, Chinese language, film, French language, literature, political science, sociology, Spanish language, and special topics. The professors for these courses are located around the world and they will give you a unique multicultural perspective in their chosen discipline.

Can I earn credit?

You can earn credit towards your University of Iowa degree when you participate in virtual international coursework. All courses are three semester hours and depending on the program and provider, you can earn up to six semester hours this summer. The credit earned through these courses can count towards major, minor, general education and certificate requirements.

Why participate in virtual international coursework?

The academics offered are of the highest caliber and now that they are being delivered online, you will receive individualized attention.
