“Starving for Water: The Global Water Crisis” is the topic at the next “WorldCanvass” program Friday, March 25. The program will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in a new location, Room 2780 of the University Capitol Centre. It is free and open to the public.
The program will address water and its relationship to the environment, global health, water resources, the rights of individuals and communities, and more.
Ten guests will join host Joan Kjaer, including Chris Buresh of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Burns Weston of the UI Center for Human Rights, and Stephen Swanson and David Gompper, faculty members in the UI School of Music in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, who will give a performance of “Animal Songs.” For a complete list of guests and topics, visit http://international.uiowa.edu/worldcanvass.
