Study Abroad will host an information session on its Wells College program in Florence, Italy, on Wednesday, February 28, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre.

Join Amy Staples, the director of International Programs at Wells College, to learn about studying abroad at Lorenzo de’ Medici School in Florence, Italy’s most important and dynamic cultural center. Through this program, students can earn major, minor, and general education requirements towards their UI degree.

Students enroll at the Lorenzo de’ Medici International Institute, where all courses (aside from the Italian language and literature courses) are taught in English. Students do not need to have prior experience with the Italian language to participate in this program.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Cory Petersen in advance at cory-petersen@uiowa.edu or 319-335-0353.
