Are you a Spanish major or minor and looking to study abroad in Spain this summer?

Study Abroad will host an information session on its popular summer Iowa Hispanic Institute program in Valladolid, Spain, on Friday, February 14, from 1:00 p.m. in 315 Phillips Hall

Spend 6 weeks in Spain improving your Spanish, living with a host family, and traveling around the country. Come and hear highlights of the program and get your questions answered.

This program is designed to improve students' written and spoken Spanish and to enhance their understanding of Spanish culture and life in Spain. It offers five weeks of academic instruction and one week of independent travel. Led by UI Spanish Professor Ana Rodriguez, participants will receive 7 semester hours of credit to go towards a Spanish major or minor.

Program dates: May 22-July 4
Application deadline: March 6
