Stir Fry Project workshops beginning March 30

April 6th, 2012

The collaborative art project Stir Fry is a mix of people of various cultures and ages that are brought together in a series of structured workshops to tell and transform their stories into art. Please join us for the following workshops:

Stop Motion Animation Workshops I & II
March 30, 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Assembly Room
April 1, 1-4 p.m. in Room 208
The stop-motion animation workshops will merge stories together to produce a video that expresses the creativity and diversity of our community. Participants will collaborate on a story and participate in creating the figures for the production.


Printmaking Workshop I & II
April 6, 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Room G07
April 15, 1-4 p.m. in Room 208
Stir Fry is sponsored by the UI Center for Human Rights, the University of Iowa School of Art and Art History, and the Iowa City Senior Center. Also, Iowa City’s Dick Blick has made generous donations of art supplies.
