Not your ordinary international experience

The Study Abroad Office, Peace Corps, School of International Training (SIT), and International Fellowships will hold an upcoming informational session "Not Your Ordinary International Experience." This event is free and open to the public, and will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in 1117 University Capitol Centre.

Fulbright, SIT, and the Peace Corps offer unique opportunities to live, learn, and work in host communities around the world and explore the perspectives and issues impacting the people who live there. Kristen Ware, SIT, will share information about summer and semester study abroad programs combining field-based research with academic coursework. Karen Wachsmuth, Fulbright and International Fellowship, will present on undergraduate and post-graduate funding, teaching, and research opportunities. Meredith Mahy Gall, Peace Corps, will discuss opportunities to use your skills to make a difference in a developing country after graduation.

Fun Fact: SIT conducted orientation and training for the earliest Peace Corps volunteers!
