Middle Eastern Regimes is Topic of Turkish Journalist’s Talk April 19

Turkish journalist and scholar Kerim Balci will visit the University of Iowa to present a talk on “Turkey and the Restructuring of the Middle Eastern Regimes,” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the Illinois Room of the Iowa Memorial Union. The talk is free and open to the public. An RSVP to is requested for those planning to attend.

Balci is editor in chief of “Turkish Review,” a bimonthly journal published in English by Zaman Media Group of Turkey. He writes mainly about the Middle East, Turkish politics, U.S. policy in the Middle East and interfaith dialogue. He also works with interfaith dialogue groups in Europe to promote multiculturalism in Europe.
